- These bracelets were made on-demand and hand-selected by a western medical doctor and a nun while near the Tibet border. Spathalobus bracelets are traditionally known for their medicinal benefits (Fu 2017).

- Spatholobus suberectus stem has been shown to improve blood circulation and have anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, and anti-oxidant effects (Zhang 2016).

- The stem has traditionally been used in Tibet and China for the management of multiple disorders such as anemia, arthritis, pain and insomnia (Mohibbullah 2017).
