UCLA Geriatic Psychiatry Fellowship

UCLA offers a one-year program for psychiatrists at the PGY V level, which is accredited by the American Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Graduates are eligible to sit for the examination to receive Subspecialty Certification in Geriatric Psychiatry.

Application Requirements

Eligible candidates must have completed an ACGME–accredited psychiatry residency program prior to start date of the fellowship. The following documents will be necessary to process your application:

  • Application

  • Curriculum vitae

  • Personal statement (Please describe your interests, achievements, and career goals.)

  • MSPE/Dean’s letter

  • Medical school transcript

  • USMLE I, II, III Scores

  • Residency Program Director’s letter

  • 3 separate letters of recommendation

  • Privacy Act Waiver

  • ECFMG Certificate, if applicable
