Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is seeking to recruit three psychiatrists to our clinical faculty. These are clinician-educator positions (non-tenured) with both outpatient and inpatient opportunities tailored to suit candidates, ideally with a focus on patients with mood and anxiety disorders and patients in our Women’s Mental Health program. Positions include teaching and supervision of residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as shared on-call duties. Opportunities for integrated and collaborative care are available through strong partnerships with UIC OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Pediatrics.
Applicants must: -Be a Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO), -Have completed an ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) accredited residency in Psychiatry, -Possess or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois and an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license, and -Be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Psychiatry.

We are also a nationally known basic and clinical research enterprise, ranked first in Chicago and top 20 by NIH funding, with foci in mood and anxiety disorders, women’s mental health, late life depression, addictions, and mental health services, with multiple opportunities for collaboration and translation of research towards serving our clinical populations.
