Phoenix Children’s Hospital (sponsoring institution) is proud to announce the recent approval of a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship in collaboration with the University of Arizona College Of Medicine-Phoenix Psychiatry Residency Program at Banner (home institution). Our program will provide trainees with experience in child and adolescent inpatient programs, consultation-liaison and outpatient treatment. The program strives to provide excellent clinical opportunities to acquire and develop evidence-based clinical skills and foundational knowledge for continued professional learning post-fellowship.

The Department of Psychiatry currently trains medical students from the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix, Creighton School of Medicine and the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Fellows will have the opportunity to develop their academic teaching skills during the course of their training.

Our Psychiatry Residency Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and meets all of the requirements for our graduates to be eligible for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology-Child and Adolescent certification (ABPN).

The Program Director is Dr. Randall Ricardi, who has been at Phoenix Children's for 25 years and active in medical education.

Applications can be submitted via ERAS.
